408 suggestions (What's new?) I may be getting a 6.0L bare block soon, and would like to know what my options are. I don't really have a set budget, so I'm open to any/all suggestions.
Before someone tells me to search, I've been reading the forums for about 6 hours today, and only found a couple different setups that were actually in cars and running. I'm not sure what car this would be going in... future decision, but I'm assuming buying a 98+ camaro, or trans am would be the simplest route?
I'm looking to get around 500 or so hp N/A, and then spray it.
Should I do a 408 stroker with forged internals?
What heads/cam/intake setup would be ideal?
It would be primarily a weeked cruiser, with an occasional trip to the dragstrip.

LME is running a special on 408's right now. I have one of there engines in my car. Its exactly what you are looking for. daily driver idles at 800rpm 500+ N/A direct port nitrous
