Default bending pushrods

i hear some of you guys talking about missed shifts and bending pushrods, but only in an manual. i have a 98 T/A auto, and the other night i floored it from 50mph, because these cars pull pretty hard from there and it went to shift from i think 3rd to 4th, but it could have been 2nd to 3rd, anyway, it almost seemed like the tranny hesitated a little bit, for like a full second in between gears i dont know how to describe it, almost like it was bouncing off a rev limiter, but it was not the engine that was hesitating it was the tranny, what is that what could it be, also im scared that i may have hurt something in the valvetrain. what do you guys think??

You probably have a smoked clutch pack in your transmission. It would seem like hesitation, as the tranny will slip, then finally grab. I had an A4 in my '97 WS6. The 383/nitrous combo was a little rough on the transmission, and I had the pleasure of smoking the 4L60E 3 times inside of a couple of years...

i agree with Josh..

Had the same thing happen to me. The 2nd to 3rd shift. Got that fixed then 3 months later the 3rd to OD does it now.
