Default Tstat

what else would need to be done when swapping to a 160 degree tstat. any tuning needed?? Thanks for any info in advance.

You can run the T-stat with no tuning it will help out. Works even better when you start building HP and then have it tuned for the fans.

The 160 degree thermo will open at 160 degrees...that does not mean it will run at 160...you will have to get an edit done to have your fans come sooner for it to really do you much good in keeping the temp lower

IMO you are better off leaving the stock T-stat in there and either getting a manual fan switch or having them set to come on sooner.
