Oil leak

Oil leak

OK i just changed out a torque converter, got it all back on the ground and started it up....looked down and seen an oil leak. Its looks like near the oil filter, and yes i check to see if it was lose. But there is drops where the bell houseing and oil pan meet. Any idea's where I should start to look, What i might of done to cuase this, and it only leaks while running. Thanks for any input

Did you change you rear main seal when you took out the trans? That would be whats leaking in between there.

No I didn not change that cuase it was not leaking before I pulled the tranny Is there any oil lines that could leak maybe cause how much I had the engine tilted?

Is it a lot of oil? What a coincidence... I just talked to CAT3 and he did a converter change today and that just happened. Check the vent tube and make sure its not pinched. Make sure the dipstick is all the way on. If the TC wasn't seated properly you could have blew the seal. In CATs case it was a pinched vent tube that was caught between the torque arm.
