Default valvetrain issues!!!need help

anyone had luck adjusting the patriot adj. rocker arms with comp r lifters

cam is a 224/224 580 with patriot ls6 stg 2 heads and 7.100 pushrods

is there a easy way to set the valve lash on these ??

patriot says to tighten until the lifter bottoms out and then back out one turn to 40 thousandths lash but does not seem to be working is there a sequence to make this process easier to follow the base circle

any help is greatly appreciated

What is not working? Are your pushrods hitting the head? I had that problem with patriot rockers.

gunnar at patriot said that is the most common size for that cam the pushrod length seems to work fine but the adjustment process is where the problem is i have been told thta the comp r lifters have a much greater preload than the stock ones do so hopefully someone has some more exp. with these rockers the adjustment seemed to be simple but the more you tighten certain rockers the lifter doesnt bottom out it just forces the valve open not allowing the ability to adjust the lash in the setup just wondering if there was a sequence or order for adjusting the rocker arms so adjustment of lash would be easier i know there is a sequence for the stock arms but they are non adjustable anyone with any input or experience with this would be helpfull

the sequence would be the same. basically you just want the valve you are adjusting fully closed. Nothing more to it.
