If you can get a semi acurate measure ment on the peices width and thickness it might help to narrow it down too.

If you have a dime look at it and compare it to the picture. I'm confused as to why you would even ask a question like that

Whatever it is its really small and I really dont think its part of the internals.... I say "let it eat" and keep on running it like you always have.

The wavy oil ring can easily be bent...doubt that is it.

Well just got home a few minutes ago from dads house working on the car all day. The oil pan is clean with no other parts to be found. I had a buddy that works for GM that is a parts manager look over the part and he also thinks that this is not an internal part must be from the old blower coming apart. After cleaning out the oil pan we changed the oil 4 times and filtered everything to find nothing other than clean oil. We then put some mobil 1 in and called it day for his car.

I guess everything will be ok with the motor and if it blows for some reason then we will go with bigger cubes and more boost.

Thanks everyone for helping out with all your thoughts.

I agree with the other fellow, you should be fine for long time. You could cut the oil filter open and make sure there isn't any fine pieces that went through the oil galleries...

I'm guessing it came from the original blown blowers and just now made its way to oil pan magnet. I agree it does not look like part of the engine.

Plug electrode or leftover from blower. Add more magnets.

I'd do a compression check on all cylinders, just to be safe, can't hurt. Gives you a chance to look at the plugs too, that might tell you something. I'd also, get a REALLY strong magnet, and tape/strap/attach to the oil filter, and run the car for about 300 or so miles easy, then cut the filter apart to see if you find anything.

Another thought too would be to put some kind of post filter on teh return line from the blower, so if this happens again, it can't make it's way into the oil pan. I'm sure that there's something out there that could do the job without being too much a flow restriction, even a glass bubble type thing with a screen to catch big pieces, as that's most likly what that is. To me, it looks as if it could be a piece of a tooth of the internal blower gears. I'd find some way to filter that oil leaving the blower if at all possible, probably a good idea for all forced induction type applications where engine oil is fed into the unit, turbo, superchanger, etc. etc.
