You won't make 717rwhp w/o nitrous only spending 35k total. You won't run low 10's on street tires either with that much power. No way you could keep the tires from spinning. Probably he is thinking n/a is with nitrous and street tires are dot legal slicks.

It's the valve covers.... the LPE valve covers gives it that extra edge..... voila 200hp

He specifically said "naturally aspirated" no turbo, no supercharger, no nitrous. I had him start the car, and while it shook pretty good, I have heard much more aggressive LS1 cars idling, specifically a 98 SS with a 232 236 on 112 comp cam, TEA stg 1.5 5.3s, Kooks 1 7/8s, and true duals. I know the extra cubes eats some lope but still. He had some BFG drag radials on it, but they weren't the ones with the slick patch in the center, they were something different, can't remember the name, but I have seen em in Summit before. If I still had my pewter car, which ran 11.26@120.83 the one and only pass down the track on the juice, it had bottom 11's or high 10's in it, I would have asked for a friendly run from a dig. That would sure test the old mans driving skills LOL. He sure had all the locals fooled.

what he meant to say is a buddy of his showed him a video of another lingenfelter vette that ran 10.0 at 140 and dynoed 714rw.. and that is probably does the same

if it was legit he would have had the slip and the dyno on him

the 427 NA motor with FAST intake that LPE build is good for about 520 rwhp. The guy is just a typical BS'er...we gget them all the time around here. They also NEVER race anyone from a dig or even a fair roll. I would be money on stock street tires and him driving, it wouldn't get in the 11's.

2hp per CI would be 854hp

Driveline loss:
20% for an auto would be 683rwhp
15% for a manual would be 726rwhp

Why can't a 427 make 2hp per CI? What is keeping it from doing so, as 427-454 BBC engines can?

Cylinder head flow?
Camshaft selection?

Mighty Mouse (Yours is an A&A 430, right?),

Now I think I know who this above F-ing A-Hole is. He is running a hidden 100 Dry. Yes, that was his video on drag tire. He was in an N/a drag Vette Competition Event and cheated by using NOS to win. This was a big deal about six months ago, enough so, to get an apology on the net and "we had no idea what he did," from John Page at 21stCM and Ed at LPE.

The guy he cheated initially figured it out based on his 1/8 mile time and 1/4 mile time. Way to much spread.

That guys name should be put here on the forum. Looks his lying habits have not changed.

It is possible to make that kind of power out of an LSX platform -- although not easy. Judson's motor did it with LS6 heads and just a sleeved block (read NO C5R parts). It was a full out drag motor though -- aluminum rods/sheetmetal manifold, big compression, but still its possible.

he would have to be spouting off flywheel dyno #'s before it was put in the car. Flywheel #'s are crap considering the amount of loss through the driveline. Which is very inconsistent from car to car. No way 700+ at the wheels and still a daily driver.

I talked to one of my buds that was there when I was, and he said the guy claimed a 143mph trap speed. He also took some pics, which I tried to upload but they were too big. I'll have him resize them and I'll try to get em posted in the next day or so.

He is running NOS.

MightMouse, sorry I confused you with your cousin MonsterMouse. Different super hero suit, similar internals.
