Default top coolant plugs in heads

Hey guys,

I used the search to find the part #'s for the rear coolant plugs in the heads (the ones on top that correspond to the coolant crossover pipe in the front) but I've found like 3 different GM part numbers and I don't know which ones are right. One of them doesn't even exist in the GM parts direct catalog.

I need the part numbers for the coolant plugs and the bolts. If anyone has the current #'s for these that would be awesome. Thanks!!!

I have 12570678 for the coolant plugs, not sure about the bolts. Give sdpc a call, I'm sure they can help you with both parts.

Cool, well at the very least, anyone know what size of bolt I need to secure the plugs with? Anybody just plugged up the coolant holes there with 2 bolts instead of using the GM plugs? Just wondering if that's an option....

Part: 12570678

Unit Price: $2.74
Quantity: 1

This is for the plugs, I am sure there are no bolts. I assume you are putting an LS6 intake on, just get the plugs for the back and the crossover pipe for the front and you are good.

Ok, thanks man. I couldn't remember what was back there since I never took them off my old heads.

Yep, just use the existing bolts from the crossover pipes that are already in there. If you don't have those, coil pack bolts work fine too.
