how much do you think it would be worth? my buddy has one and wants to sell it to me

no way to know until you tear it down and see how bad the damage is, if the block has a badly damaged cylinder wall it may be good only for doing a big bore resleeved project
again it depends on how blown up it is.

Damage depends a lot. Blown gasket, or cracked block??
