Default ls6 spring with ASA cam

hey was just wondering if i would have any problems running ls6 springs with a ASA cam....since the lif ti is so low..i thought they should work, also if they will work how often will i have to change springs??

i'm running that cam with the 02+ ls6 springs. Had the cam for about a year now with no problems. not sure how long before you'd have to change them.

some will suggest to get the comp 918s. but it will work with the ls6 springs.

if i use 918's ya think ill ever have to change springs....when i mean ever i mean out of the ordinary

^ I think it's safe to say that the ASA+918 combo would last quite a long time between spring swaps. To be on the safe side, after the first 2 or 3 years, pull a spring every year and check it.

I'm using the '02 ls6 springs with the ASA cam. The lift of the cam is less than what the springs were used for from the factory, so it'll go a long time before a spring change is necessary.
