Default AFR Backlog ???

Is the backlog still 5-6 weeks on AFR 205's? Hopefully Tony M. will weigh in or anyone else who knows.

Yes...

Thats about right....You might see an "LS" style head slightly sooner, but I would say that an "average" lead time on say a 205 is about 5 weeks currently. Check with a few of our dealers if you need something sooner...

Why would you wait 4-5 weeks when they are available and ready to ship from 2 different people. Check the group purchase section and you will find 2 different post with afr 205 for 2000 shipped and 2189 shipped.

zohhhh6 > mainly because of the warranty from AFR. With any company for any product, if you buy directly from the company, there's no room for question when a Warranty issue arises. You buy from them, they support without question (normally). From a third party, why deal with the hassle? I'd rather wait 5 weeks.

Already looked at those For Sale posts, but, decided I wanted to get my Performance Shop to order, install, and address any issues that I might have later down the road ... just makes good sense to me.

Oh ok...makes sense now....But mannn I just wouldn't be able to sleep for 5 weeks if I knew I could get in in 3 days and be on the road driving my baby in 2 weeks. + pay almost 400 more. But, I guess warranty is very important as well. Good luck
