Which of these motors should I purchase, and why? My goal is a motor that will last a long long time. I won't be beating the hell out of the motor. Daily driver, drag strip 5 times a year. The motor will rarely see above 4000 RPMs.

If you have any experience with any of these builders, PLEASE share!!

Futral built my new motor, but I would not hesitate to have W2W build the next one. I would not consider the others you list.

I think they all do good work.
The one from LS1speed is a 347 not a 408, but the 408 should be similar priced.

But for $1500 less, I get one from LME. And they do a lot of work to the block, not just build it and ship it.

I am currently waiting for each company to e-mail me about their machineing/balance/bluepring process. We'll see what they all say. So far, they all seem to be pretty much the same.

Wheel 2 Wheel will do a hell of a lot more than just assemble it and ship it little brother. They have an engine assembly room that is as clean as a surgical suite. They are top notch.
I do not know if there is much difference between the other shops, W2W just seems like a solid choice to me and everyone I have heard speak of them had been very impressed.

well.. you know that your opinion is golden in my book, I'm probably going to end up choosing between W2W and LME.
