i APOLOGIZE to the creator of this thread i know i got off-topic here, i just came across ANOTHER thead with some little bs comment about tsp/prc and decided to say something...

it's a shame i thought this site was about learning/helping others
Unfortunately, you are confused.. I never asked TSP to do the dyno comparison or anything like that at all. I just wanted a refund.. And I personally do not like the fact that people keep saying that I only did this to hurt TSP/PRC. That is not the truth. If you do a search on my name you will that there were many many posts over the past 1-2 months where I was talking about how excited I was to get the PRC heads and how I couldn't wait to get them on the car and try them out! I haven't dealt with TSP for very long, but the times that I have were always good. Jason was always a good guy on the phone and got me my parts quickly and cheap as well. So, when people say stuff like "you never intended to run those heads, you just did this to hurt TSP, you are working with AFR, you did this and that"... they obviously aren't doin any research. I posted the results to inform the members of this site.. But, I will admit that it eventually took the wrong course and ALOT of people started running their mouths back and forth and things were said that didnt need to be. I have no beef with TSP in any way because I know that they will make good on this..

I just dont see why it has to be MY car that the test gets ran on? If its such an informative test for everyone then why don't one of the sponsors do it. I'm sure TSP has another car in their shop that it could easily be done with. Fact is, I don't even know if I'm gonna do anything with this current motor because of the mileage. I don't want to put a $1500-$2000 dollar set of heads on it and then it blow up and take a head out with it.. And I can't dyno test anything until the trans is fresh and the stall is in. So thats another reason..

If the car was fresh and ready to go then I would have no problem doing the test.. So, if someone wants to come and build my trans for me and rebuild my shortblock then I'm game..

im not trying to imply you had it out for TSP/PRC or that there was some conspiracy with AFR. im just wondering why you would buy performance heads when your tranny it seems is junk and your worried about your motor???

if you look around you can get your tranny rebuilt with upgraded internals for a lot less than these stg3/4 trannies...i had mine built with good internals locally for $750 with a personal guarantee if it broke that it would be rebuilt for no charge.

to me it sounds like purchasing heads that will add power isn't a good idea when your tranny and motor is on the out...but it's your car...

from what it sounds like TSP offered to do all labor, gave you the choice of the AFR's which is a good 500-600 more than their heads, and would also provide custom tuning as well...which would be around another 500 or so...

i guess it just sucks for you and all of us that would like to see a comparison...i do wish they would just do it anyway.

i still don't agree with your continued "comments" about tsp/prc when they did offer to hook you up hardcore...

I didnt say anything about TSP or PRC in this thread... And I wont.. If anything is said at all it will be thru PM's only from now on.. And I'm sure people will get their stuff checked out more often and I'm also sure that PRC will be putting out some damn good sets of heads from now on as well. And that is all that I wanted to come out of this..

My trans is just in the beginning of taking a crap.. I have already purchased all the stuff from TCI for the build. I just have to reserve my buddies lift to pull the trans out and have Smitty build it. I had some money saved up and had parts to trade so I just started buying/trading parts so I would have the parts now instead of being broke when I needed heads/cam, etc..
