What condition is your current motor in? You'll have to change heads or pistons in the LS2 because of the 11:1 compression ratio if you really get the 'charger. It might be cheaper to stroke your current engine. Plus, you'll need all the electronics to operate the LS2.

My motor right now is good with 49k miles on it, but I just want a brand new engine with my brand new tremec

If he was going to run a lot of boost he is going to have to change pistons (not heads) in either one..LS2 is a 6 liter with 01 LS6 heads and valve train on it..I'd rather have the larger cu. in. to start off with..tuning the LS2 is not a big deal the programs have been delveloped..your going to have to tune either engine..I vote bigger..
