If you want the 113 LSA, keep the cam. 2* extra duration on the intake lobe isn't going to change performance or drivability much; maybe you get an extra 1 or 2 HP.

If you would like to change the cam, give me a call back and we'll get that cam coming back to us and get you a new TQ.2 cam on the way. Its no problem at all!

Jon
sent you a PM.

I guess for everyone elses info, more mine, lol:
So I guess this is a 234/234 on 113lsa I have correct?

How will this affect the hp/tq numbers through the rpm range vs the standard 232/234 TQII? Will it drop the torque down low and raise up high, lower hp down low, and raise it up top more, or opposite, etc??

Thanks again everyone!

This is what you have now:
234/234, .598/.598 113+1 lsa
This is what it is supposed to be:
232/234 .595/.598 112+2 lsa ( TSP Torquer Revision 2 )

The 234 will Idle better (no split and 113 lsa), but that means it will have less (chopchop) lope

The power band on the 234 will be 100 (maybe 200, but I don't think so) rpm higher.

As noted above by JRP the lobes on the 234 is 3727 (int/exh) on the Torquer II they are 3726/3727 (int/exh).

Bottom line the cam you got is similar and close to Torquer specs but IT is not a Torquer II and it will act differently.

I still say return it.

Ok cool, thanks!!!

Definately want the power a bit lower, I don't go racing all the time, and NJ roads demand power in the middle. And if its going to affect the idle, well, I do want something a bit mean sounding

The LSA will change the idle more than the difference in lobes. Driveability wise, sound, ect., with a good tune, you won't be able to tell the difference in these cams. But like I say, if you want to send it back, we'll get you a TQ.2 cam on the way.

Yeah JRP goes all the way down to the last hundreths of a thousandths or how ever you go. Owell nice to see someone actually takes the time to write the numbers down all the way to the last digit. Good Job JRP!
