G5X3 on 112 sound clips?
G5X3 on 112 sound clips? Im not sure if this is the right area, but ill give it a shot. I have searched all over ls1sounds and this board for sound clips of the X3 on a 112 at idle and I have come up short. I am very curious to how this cam sounds and if any body has some sound clips i would love to hear them. I have true duals so i would prefer to hear clips of them but i will take any clip at this point. If you guys can help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks
Did you try ls1sounds.com? I can tell you that I ran into a local guy with a 10 sec 99 Z28 that had that exact cam and it sounded very good. Actually I was surprised at how tame it sounded for such a big cam. i mean at idle it had a nice lope but honestly overall his car seemed very daily driver friendly and tame. The car is an auto and it sounded quite smooth when driving it around casually and sounded real nice when he got on it too. I know b/c i followed him a little ways after we got done talking.

Folks had asked about what a G5X3 sounds like, and idles like. So, I was putting the exhaust back on the car, and shot a before and after video. The video is of 3Gun's car.
This is the G5X3 car that I drove at the Thunder Shootout, and the South Carolina Corvette shootout.
Please don't stream these videos. Right click and save as, and run them from your machine. If folks stream this stuff, then my ISP will shut me down. The videos are rather large (~20M each), so I would only recommend broadband folks download them.

thank you for the sound clips was this on a 112 or 114 lsa? Also if any body else has clips can you post them up? Id really appreciate it. And just to let you guys know I have checked ls1sounds.com and they dont have any good sound clips of this cam

no mufflers at all. headers, x pipe, rear half, and turn downs. The Vette only has mufflers behind the IRS. In that video, the mufflers were out of the car completely
