Default Rebuliding LS1-Fire damage to a v6 body

I have the chance to switch my 3.8 over to a LS1...for a real low price..and money is not a issue because i have other vechiles and neither is down time..the motor is going for a steal price i think. The block/heads/manifolds are all for sale and well they are burnt because they have been in a fire. anyone have any idea how much it would take to rebulid the motor correct??and if its worth the effort

Well its a toss up. You could make out like a champ and there is nothing wrong with it. Or it could warped due to extreme heat.

Default Well

I havent bought the motor and don't really have pics of it...I found it...thats all i'm saying...Is it possible for a car to catch and be hot enough to warp the block? I mean the only that can burn is the wires, seals, fluids, etc. not the metal..but is it possible to be burnt??I'm talkin like the car caught on fire but yes the block does look at though someone sat it down in a fire
