Default Figured I would ask the experts

Ok lets get started..looking to improve the hp and torque on my 98 corvette LS1 with A4 (basically stock - only added Blackwing). Currently dynoed at 283rwhp/305rwtq.

Found this package deal and want to make sure it works for my application before I get too far.

-comp cam xer 224/230 581/591 on a 114
-pp heads ls6 style stage 2 (59cc) (fully assembled)
-timing chain
-oil pump
-7.4 moly pushrods

I don't do the 1/4 mile, but I do auto-x. Shooting for 380-400rwhp/rwtq numbers.

I am also going to do headers, but haven't found any YET.

What else do I need and will this work?

Thanks everyone.

You can do heads/cam, but you will also need a LS6 intake to compliment the heads/cam mods. Should get you 400+rwhp..

If you are not drag racing or spraying, I personally would look for a single pattern cam i.e; 226/226, 230/230 etc
