I have read on different ls1 sites that when you start up your car and hear a knocking noise and the noise disappears after your car warms up is piston slapping. My question is what kind of pistons can I use to replace then without completely overhauling my engine?? I read somewhere LS6 pistons could help?

 

Its not nec, the pistons them selves its the clearances in the alum. block
