Default Changing valve seals

1st timer doing this. I have this faq on it:

http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=23

Anything else I should be aware of? I'm using the one piece valve seals, I have an 2001 but figured it would be okay to upgrade to the one piece 2002+ valve seals.

Is there supposed to be a "click" when I tap the seal on with a 10mm deep socket? Any other tips? Already searched, thanks.

With the 1 piece seal/spring seat, the spring will push it on all the way when you reinstall it. No need to tap it on with a socket. Just be sure and remove the old spring seat before you install the new seal.

Correct. You will see when you install the first one that the spring will push it down all the way. It has to. Even on the older seals, they don't click when you tap them down.

Cool thanks, anything special for reinstalling the rockers? Is there a torque spec or preload or anything?
