Default Spun bearing?

Have been having a knocking noise and really rough idle. Oil pressure is at 40 on cold start but settles to 20 after 5 minutes. sometime when under acceleration oil pressure falls. I was going to change the oil pump to cure the oil pressure problem. However, do you think the knocking is a spun bearing? Above 2500k the car seems to drive fine and can't hear knocking but oil pressure fluctuates. No knock shown on scanmaster but i did have something crazy happen to me the other day. I was in 5th gear going about 45 and gave it some gas, it bogged and got 15* of knock. I let off immediately and it went away. Should I start saving for shortblock or try oil pump first?

Default shavings in filter?

Pull your oil filter and look for metal shaving.

Yes, what he said,That's the same problem that I had. It ended up that my rod bearing was spun and it moved around enough to let the piston hammer on the head at certain RPM's
