Possibly buying this shortblock for spray ... how does it look?
I am possibly going to buy a shortblock and I want to get about 420-450rwhp n/a and 600rwhp from it with nitrous. How does it look based on the parts below?
stock (truck) crankshaft
mahle forged, and coated flat top pistons with mahle rings
scat pro-mod I-Beam Rods
ARP main studs, and arp pro rod bolts, premium king bearings, clevite cam bearings etc. the block has never been damaged, only a light hone on the cylinders for the new pistons.
opinions greatly appreciated!
Just decide how much you'll shoot before you buy.
N2O is addictive and 150 quickly becomes 200+ shots.
IMO Wiseco with ringland relief and proper nitrous gap file would benefit you more at the long run.
