Unhappy Recieved wrong cam, keep it or wait for new one?

Well, recieved my cam today and noticed it was on the wrong LSA. I ordered a 226/230 on a 114 but got it on a 112 lsa instead. The car is mostly my wifes DD, so that's why I went with the 114 to keep her happy.I thought I always wanted a 112 for the great midrange and lopey idle, but I decided to comprimise for her sake. Now that I have a 112, do I keep it and enjoy it or send it back and wait 2 more weeks for the new one?????The install date isn't firm yet but will most likely be early next month.
Dilema...
What are the pros and cons or the two again?
Brent at TEA and the cam vendor recommended the 114 as well, but got this instead.Doens't a a 114 have about 10 RWHP up top?Is it a good trade of for the midrange? Finally get it figured out after all this time and now I must decide again!

Thanks
Jay

Brent at TEA and the cam vendor recommended the 114
Send it back. If you put time & effort into the decision process, get what you decided was best.

BTW, if you want lope, just keep the idle speed at 850. You'll get some lope.

So if the 114 won't make her happy,I should just keep this one then someday get her a different car.HA hA.I've been on these forums since 98 and have always read about 112 lsa cams and liked what I was reading.Just switched as I was ordering basically.Maybe they heard me say 114, but deep down they knew I wanted 112.

Will some quality tuning you should be okay.
I would have done something on a 116/117 if I wanted no lope at all. Maybe something like the cheater cam.

Just so happens I know of a guy in Ft Myers that I would like to have tune it....LOL.
I do want it to lope.As long as is doesn't ever stall she'll be fine. She can relearn to drive the car. Of course I may have to learn to, mostly how to deal without sex when she cuts me off for messin with her car.
Just kidding.

It's not a good idea to **** off your wife. If she hates the car, you might not have it long.

Good luck (with the wife).

It has nothing to do with LAZY. This one took me a month to get! My install date is very flexible for next month so it could be returned. But, what if an opening came up for earlier install and tuner available and I had no cam.Not likely, but could.Take this week for example, I have about 10 days off unexpected. If I had my damn knock sensors maybe I could have got an install this weekend.
As I said before I've always wanted a 112 I thought, was talked out of it

.As Gollum said "a 114 won't make her happy either"
I better call vendor back and get feedback from them too.Was waiting on a PM,but didn't get one yet.
Notice how I say vendor instead of name to be nice.

Who is the guy that you want your car tuned by in Fort Myers.

My car was tuned, and soon again will be tuned by Pro Auto Tech in Fort Myers. Just curious. If it's not them, is it J&J?

The tuner recommended to me was Jeremy from Rev Extreem. Don't know any of the details yet or when.I'm kinda planning the install the weekend before they do a Ft Myers tune day.JZ'sTA posted above can tell you all the info..
I still need to give you a call Jeremy.

I just watched this vid of a F11 (228/230 575 595) on 112, similar to my 226/230 same lift, and once the "wood" went down I decided the cam I recieved is the one!!!!

http://thot.us/ws6-dyno.wmv

This heads and cam buildup was my 10 year anniversary gift from my wife, So I better do it the way I wanted from the start.I bought her an anniversary ring that will keep her quite happy even if her car is rumbling. She will just have to look at her hand and get over it.

Thanks for replies, and help.More input will still be appreciated.
I will let you know how it turns out.
