Default Ported head question?????

When intalling ported heads should you use silicone on the rocker arm bolts to keep any oil and air from leaking into the cylinders? I used loctite when I put the rocker arms on. A friend of mine told me that I needed the silicone as well.

Yeah, on every other one. I used silicon on the ones that you can feel inside of the intake ports.

Yes, it would be fine, some use thread sealer with 271 loctite on head end of bolt, but really not necessary if properly torqued.

AFR 205 heads I just installed on my vette, crane studs don't protrude into the intake runners.
