Valve Spring Stripe Color?!

I have here a 01 Camaro Z28 that we are about to put in an LS6 Cam. We bought a Cam and Springs off a 2004 Z06 Vette. I noticed that the valve springs on the 01 Camaro have an ORANGE stripe on them. When compared to the the ones from the Z06, they also have the same color stripe on the valve spring.

Is there any difference? Or did I get ripped off when i bought the "Z06" cam?

I had 04' LS6 springs and they had a orange stripe

Thats what I have too but the 01 Z28 also has the same stripe???

My 02 stock springs were Brown striped. My LS6 springs were green striped..GM needs to pick a color and stick with it.

LS1 97-04 color Natural
LS6/385hp 01 color blue
LS6/405hp 02-04 color yellow
LQ4 99-04 color Natural
LQ9 02-04 color Natural

Orange is the LS2 or replacement for the LS6 spring.
