Default Valve Adjustment???

Is there any valve adjustment on the LS1 needed when changing springs like the old small blocks??? Or are they automatically set?

Thanks

No, there is not. The only thing I can think of that you may have to do is shim the springs for proper installation height/pressure. Normally it's a simple swap and go.

No adjustment needed. I think your thinking og solid or mechanical lifters that require you adjust the lash.

Luckily there are no worries about lash with hydraulic rollers.

New springs mean you took the rockers off which means you will have to set the pre-load on the rockers. to me that's an adjustment.....

the preload is already measured. all you do is torque the bolts to 22 lbs-ft. there is no adjusting like the old gen 1 SBC. unless, he has milled heads. which he hasn't specified. and this is if he's using factory rockers.
