im thinking about putting a cam in the car...my current mods are..LT's, full exhaust, lid, 10.4mm wires and a 3500 stall....what else would I have to get as far as bolton wise before I can put a cam in and get decent results..im wanting to run mid-low 11's with full interior as this is also my daily driver.

You'll get good results as your car stands now. You have long tubes which a bigger cam definitely need. You probably will want 3.73s as 4.10s in a dd a4 is a little too much. If you don't have an ls6 intake you will get good gains out of that with a cam.

 

just bought the car last week...and im sure i'll get 3.73's..ive got 3.23's right now..and not really wanan to fork out $300+ for a intake...any other boltons thats a must

 

for low 11s on a cam only you'll need a BIG stick or to shed weight.

No point in shooting for low 11s with an aggressive cam if you have an LS1 intake.

Port your TB and get an underdrive pulley. FastToys Ram Air or similar is good for .1
