Milling some patriots
Im gonna go with the patriot stage 2 perimeter bolt LS1 heads, and have them hand finished as well. Says they have a 66.67 cc chamber, 2.02 intake and 1.57 valves. I am thinking I want to mill them to 63cc's. This would give me approximately a 10.75 compression ratio with the stock graphite head gasket. Is this possible/a good idea and set up?
How much would I have to take out to get to 63cc?
I surely wont have any PtoV clearance issues I assume, from what ive gathered....is this correct?
Say I milled .050....does that mean I would have to go with a 7.350 push rod compared to the 7.400 stock length?
thanks for helping out

depends on what he wants......I did 0.050" on my 2.08/1.60 valve heads and had about 0.150" clearance with a TR224/224 112LSA.....
