Default found a very small knick in my heads!

Well as I am preparing for my head install tomorrow I looked at my heads. I found a small knick no larger than the tip of a ball point pen right outside of one of the cylinders. Could I carefully smooth it out with a very fine file? Or is the head now junk?

Just clean it up only as much as neccesary. Try and remove the sharp edges that stick out, and don't dig down to try and smooth it completly out. If you do that you may make a larger recess than what you had before. If it is only as big as the tip of a pin, the intake gasket should seal it no problem.
