Default Some cam choices...

i'm kinda looking around for a cam, but have factory warrenty, so i got a cam wouldnt want it to be TOO noticable but a little wouldnt hurt, want to keep my tq and kind increase it. Also wouldnt mind picking up some top end and mid range while obtaining Drivibilty.Over 20 my truck has some ***** but off the line it kinda doesnt but that may be due to the 33's
Anything needed to go along with these just new springs, wont be take the truck really over 6200

your lack of "***** off the line" is from big tires and the fact that your truck weighs 5220lbs ......anything larger is going to shift the power band up (less low end) though "how much" I can't say.......to really have more low end you need one of/all of the following:

- more CIs
- more gear
- positive displacement (roots blower) boost

my stock Silverado has good "***** off the line" (for an automatic truck).....I notice it really starts to run out of "go" about 5000 (right about where I would think the stock cam would).....I am THINKING of putting the stock cam out of my 01 Z28 (because it would be FREE) so it will run to 5800 but I know I will loose some some low end so....ehhhhh....I don't know.....

you could always look into POLISHED heads (not ported.....) to give you better in and out flow.......LT headers......4.10s......
