I think I may have found one of my problems. I was told that I could use 7.4 rods with my H/C swap even with shaved heads. Well I after its all said and dine I don't think I should have done that. What would happen to my car if I used the wrong length rods? My heads are shaved .030 and they are 5.7 heads and I have a 228/228 cam.

 

I might be wrong but I beleve with milled heads you should be runing a 7.35 length push rod.
