need rocker arm help FAST!!

need rocker arm help FAST!! i just replaced my pushrods with tsp hardened. and i put my rockers back on and i torqued them down to 22 ft lbs. and it looks like my springs are compressed to much and binding. what could cause this. are the rods not seated right? they are stock length.. all the exhaust ones on the driver side were bent bad. Thats why i replaced them...could the lifters just pumped there self up causing the rods to be up higher.And will they just settle down when i start ??help..
Read my post on cam install problems, this sounds like what I did. Hope you didn't bend any valves like I did, my rockers busted on the side of the pivot bearing and my springs compressed, and would not come back up, pulled heads, and I have some bent valves, not good for me at all, other than I'm going to port and polish the heads.
