i drove the car home the other night and it ran fine, cranked it up the next day, and it sounds like a a nasty knock in the motor, it almost sounded like really bad detonation...but that didnt make sense, and i mean its nasty..loud as hell, but only at idle, above 1200 it sounds normal..quiet and it revs up smooth and quick. my oil pressure is fine, and my oil looks ok...could i have hurt the bottom end and the car been fine all the way home on the highway...and once it cooled down it was done for? i hope someone can help me make sense of this
