Default ls1 intake question

can anybody tell me if the intake manifold from a 2000 ls1 or ls6 motor will fit on a 2001 6.0 motor will there be any issues?

I have heard there may be a problem with deck height, although I don't know how close it would be.

I think that it would fit, I could be wrong, but I and many others have 6.0L/lq9 heads on a 5.7L ls1 W/ a ls6 intake with out any problems.

The gaskets are similar and I recall a HR article about a graph on different setups.

I don't know why you wouldn't want to run it for warranty purposes however, it's not like a GM tech (or other people for that matter) would know the difference.

It will bolt up, but I'm pretty sure you'll have to buy the LS6 coolent lines to get it to fit. The "Big Ugly" vortec intake possibly has different coolent lines. Something to think about!
