LS1 Help

I have a 99 383 with a Comp Cams 620 lift 246/248 112 lsa that I cannot get to run. Have changed the cam position sensor, crank position sensor and fuel filter. The car will start for a bit, then seem like it stops firing and die. Have swapped PCM's with another LS1 and same thing happens. Some times I can drain the fuel rail and the car will start and idle, then just die. It will restart once after that, and if I am holding the gas down a bit, revving to about 2000-2500 RPM it's just like the key was cut off and shuts down.

Any help will be wonderful as I'm getting tired of fooling with this.

messing with fuel then getting one or two starts I would look closer at fuel pump. is it grounded properly or bad pump. just my two cents here.

there is fuel in the gas though.....could that mean the fuel pump is over working it's self?

also the car ran fine with the previous engine with the same pump in it...
