also number seven is the 0ne that goes first...always wide band that thing and ensure proper A/F after any engine mods

Still sounds like more of a blown head gasket to me. You sure there's not a piece of the head gasket missing or signs of it leaking into the intake valley? Your rings only come up to about 1/4" from the top of the bore. That's where you will always see signs of wear in a cyclinder. Without a decent pic it's hard to tell whether the cylinder walls are really damaged or not. If the head gasket is perfect, then more than likely you piston is busted probably somewhere around the ring lands leaking the compression. My next step would be to shove that piston out of the engine and inspect it. Your cyclinder may not be that bad and a new piston may get you by if you're lucky. I'd certainly consider a hone up to the next size and upgrade to forged pistons. If it won't hone to the next size, you could dry sleeve it which is probably gonna cost around $100-$200. Then again, a used motor or a rebuilt short block may be more cost effective.

Hopefully there's someone here you can e-mail the pics to so they can be shown here. C'mon dudes, help the brother out!
