what would happen if i got some 1.8 ratio rockers and put on my car with the mods in my sig? it would make my cam seem like a 231/237 .633/.630 112.
would that be safe with stock 5.7 heads? what benefits/deficits would come from having that much more lift? would if affect the power curve any?

you definitely dont want to do that!! youll probley hit your pistons.i wouldnt even put on 1.7 ratio.i heard of a lot of people having a loss at higher rpm vs the stock rockers

thats only if he doesnt have a match set of springs. there was a good thread on it a while back. he did jus rockers and lost some up to. then he put in the springs that were supposed to go with it and everything was fine in closing, a crane or comp 1.7 rocker is best. im gonna recomend the crane 1.7 ls1 rockers

true but thats the high point for stock rockers, although i think i read that its really 1.69 or somethin like that and start at 1.59 i think. the crane rockers start at like 1.79 then go down to 1.7. do a quick search and itll be clarified for ya

Do you mean there's as much as .10 variance in the ratio of the rockers..production variance?

GM spec is 1.7:1...there shouldn't be any play here because the lifters are hydraulic
