Default car wont crank

my timing chain broke not to long ago and i have replaced it and put everything back like its suppose to be and my car will just turn over it wont crank every now and then it will back fire and/or try to run but it just wont run ive taken it apart 3 times to see if i missed any thing but its all back right and wont crank. Anyone have any ideas of why it wont run?

thanks
Chad

are you sure you put the timing chain on right? do you have a degree wheel? if so, verify the valvetrain is in sync with the bottom end. its alo possible that valves or pushrods may have bent when the timing chain broke.

Could be what slowpoke96z28 suggested. Are you throwing any codes?? Could need a crank re-learn or crank sensor change if the other stuff turns out fine. Good luck, hope you find the problem.
