How much clearance between the crank and the deflector/windage trey is needed???
Is this good?
Motor is at TDC. It looks as though the Eagle 4" crank clears easily.

Well, I tested it today. Got some washers (1/16") and tightened the tray down.
The rod bolts are SO close to hitting the tray it isn't funny.
What else would I have to watch if I spaced it 1/8"?? Would it be easier to kinda knock out the 3 spots that come close with a ball hammer or something??

I can't seem to find a part number for the ARP washers.
Are these something I can order from a sponsor??
What about cheap washers from Home Depot or something??

The ARP washers come as part of the ARP main bolt (stud) kit. You should be able to use any washer that gets you the same spacing....I will be doing the same thing this afternoon.

How much clearance needs to be there between the rod bolts and the tray??
Using one 1/16" washers, the bolts come VERY close to the tray. Using two 1/16" washers clears it pretty easy.
I guess I am asking how much 'stretch' could the crank and rod bolts have while spinning in the upper RPM's???
