storing car??
storing car?? I am going to be storing my car starting tuesday in my backyard outdoors...I was reading all the info and this is what I have
1. fill tank and add fuel stabalizer
2. plug up exhaust holes
3. put moisture absorber in interior
4. wash and wax car and polish chrome wheels
5. do oil change right before
6. car cover
7. take battery out of car
I have one concern though, I have two separate car covers which I recieved from the previous owner, one is pure cotton, and one is just thin material for outdoors, and I also have wheel covers....I was thinking of putting the cotton cover under the outdoor cover, but wasn't sure if the cotton would absorb moisture and and be trapped.
the car will be storred till atleast the spring, possibly 2 years, cause I am going off to college for 2 straight years and don't know if I can afford to drive it while I am away.... I plan to just let the car sit straight through I will be around to check up on it though from time to time.
