Default HELP: Keep the G5X2 or get the HPE S?

Hey everyone. I am TORN. I just got my car pretty much finished, with my stall gears, exhaust, everything except the cam, and therein lies my dillemma. I have a 3800 stall, 3.73's, full bolt-ons, etc., etc. and want a fairly large cam to get my car rolling. Right now I have a G5X2 on a 114 waiting to possibly go in. However, I've been looking at the HPE 'S' cam as well. It's a 238/242, .608"/.612", 115 LSA. Chuck @ HPE said that with a good tune, my car will run like a champ and pull HARD up top. The only thing is then I'll lose a bit of money selling the G5X2 and getting the new cam. I've seen badass results with both cams. What would you do? PLEASE leave me so input/advice/insight. Thanks.
Adam

I'm thinking of using that cam. How much do you want for it?

g5x2. You already have the cam and it's proven to work.

Use the current cam, and when you are ready to upgrade to an x3, or x4- I will work a trade in deal you cant pass up

Have the same cam, had my motor apart for a spun bearing and rebuilt myself on a limited budget. While I had it apart I thought of getting a new cam but the G5X2 is proven so I left it for now but since I had the heads off I had them cut .035 off the heads for some more compression I just about crapped my pants the first time I hit it with a 150 shot, I haven't dynoed it yet but I gained an ASSLOAD of torque down low.

Can I get that in writing? If so, I'm keeping that G5X2. Also, can you hook it up with some LG/G2 decals?

Ive been meaning to talk to you about cams latley, the T1 isnt cutting it anymore.

As for 8banger, I say keep it. I doubt you pick up much betwene the 2 cams. Ive seen the S cam put out the same numbers as the X2, and the X2 is a smaller cam.

DAMN IT!! I should've got the cam from you and then talked to Louis Just stick it out with the x2. You may see a bit more torque under the curve than you would with the s cam. I could be wrong though.
