Question Any1 Have Ls6 Cam Installed?

I had a thread on here asking about hp gains I could expect with the LS6 cam over the LS1 cam and got a lot of responses like, "don't get it" and "it's not worth it you need to go bigger" and "you get more hp with a bigger cam." But no one answered my question. So...if you have, or know someone that has, installed this cam could you let me know what kind of hp gains you got over the LS1 cam? I still will have the stock LS1 heads. Thank you...

I installed an 02 LS6 cam in my car when it had 4K miles on it.
Mods consisted of Lid, Ported TB, ASP, LS6 cam & valvesprings, JH Longtubes & ORY thru SLP DD muffler, Rapid Motorsports Dynotune 376rwhp @ 361rwtq - Stock 241 heads

Car sounded stock and drove like stock even untuned. The tune did add power and made the car feel better throughout the powerband. I liked the cam but was disappointed in the power from idle to 4500rpms. The setup did not hit 350rwtq until 4300rpms! My current setup hits 350rwtq at 3000rpms. It did pull pretty hard from 5Krpms to 6500rpms. I did the swap back them because it was a good CHEAP swap. Now with the price of cams I would not do it over again as you can get a better cam that makes more power throughout the rev range that also has great driveability. I am very happy with my TR224, makes power everywhere and drives 98% like the stock cam.

Graph 1 is untuned vs tuned

Graph 2 is after tune

Here is another one. Here is a bone stock 02 WS6 M6 baseline. Then added Whisper lid, FLP headers with cats, Corsa cat back, ASP pulley, LS6 cam. Both pulls on the stock tune. Notice the gains at 6100 rpm.

I've seen lots of dyno's showing the LS6 cam picked up ~20rwhp. It also pulls to a much higher RPM, most stock ls1 cams drop off after 56-5800.

Glen, am I still on your **** list?

Is there even a difference between the 2002 and 2003 LS6 cam?! Never heard of anyone mention anything other than '01 and '02 cams.
