Default CheaTR cam question

I have been seriously thinking about getting Thunder Racing's CheaTR cam. I was talking to a buddy and told him the specs, and he said that such a fast ramp on the cam will beat up the valve seats and make a lot of noise.

So I'll put the question out to those of you who have experience with the CheaTR cam. Since it has 601/.578 lift but only 214/230-degrees duration @ .050, have you had any noise/wear/mechanical issues with this cam?

Thanks guys! I checked out Patrick G's posts. It looks like I'll have valvetrain noise and reduced valve spring life. Otherwise, I'm not finding anyone saying anything bad about this cam. Noone seems to be saying that it beats up the valves/seats.
