Add that to your quench distance and the stock gasket at .054 looks like ****.Gm made
these gaskets to cover the worst case senario of short block long piston and stroke of
a production run.We can close these distances on these modified motors which pays dividends in horsepower,dentonation control,wider tuning latitude,and fuel mileage.
