Where is the oil coming from?

Where is the oil coming from? Just got done rebuilding my friends 02 WS6. Everything is working good. Put RTV high temp sealent onto the front and back covers around the oil pan, and we noticed its leaking oil from where the bellhousing meets the block at the very bottom. Im not sure if its running down or if its leaking out of there. I didnt put any rtv sealent around the bellhousing / block. Was i supposed to?
