stock pushrod length????

stock pushrod length???? I have tried to order new pushrods twice, and both times I have been given the wrong length.I have a 98 Z-28 and bent half the pushrods when I went from 3rd right back into 2nd. Does anyone know what the stock length is? I have been told it is 7.4". Need some help.
