It finally happened! What to do?
It finally happened! What to do? I went to the track tonight and made two good passes. On the third pass I went to the line and tried to stall it up. It went to 2000rpm and shut off. We pushed it back around and finally got it to start. The thing was making all kinds of noise. I checked the oil and it has metal pieces in it. 
I don't know if it spun a bearing or what. Where do I go from here?

I had the same happen to me in my 98 Z that I sold. Metal everywhere inside it...I pulled it apart and found it had spun 3 bearings. The stock oil pump failed on me. Good luck!
By the way i noticed you're from Huntington...and I'm not to far away at Beckley....what track are you going to?? I've heard there's a couple in KY that's not to far away.

But where do you go from here?? 1st to your wallet then the phone then to the new 408 you'll get in about 6 weeks 
BTW i just had my 408 delivered from LME and its going in friday night. Anyway sorry about your motor and i went through this in the early summer but when there is metal there is problems!! Good luck with your choice
