Oil pressure reference

Oil pressure reference I've got a GTO with this pan and am wonder if the allen plugs on the back could be used for an oil pressure reference. I know the f-body guys just tap the cap above the filter but they don't have these plugs.
On the inside of the pan the two holes in the gasket are right behind the plugs and directly connect to them.
The oil filter is in the front part of the pan also. So these plugs are in the rear.
