id say forced induction. no need to get into the engine, much easier to install, always have the power there and no need to refill a bottle. im cam only and i think i may just go with the blower instead of heads and spray.

The common FI SC kits should get you there with the least hassle. To get 550hp with NA you will either needs cubes, lots of revs and compression (which will = lotsa $$$), or NOx.

Bang for the buck will be FI. The 550 is big number though an may require some internal mods (FI pistons, head, cam, etc.) in addition to the FI setup.

Since traction off the line will be a problem and you have a 'built' 10-bolt ... why not twin turbo's? I know a guy here in town with TT's and when his winds up and let's loose, it's like a friggin' rocketship. I believe he's running 10's at Bithlo.

any kind of FI is going to be affected by the weather (lose hp in hot and gain in cold) and will not be able to be hot lapped to much (but then again i would not hot lap a big h/c car either) and as for haveing a car that is ready at anytime, with a turbo it only takes like 2 min to change boost level, if that. i would def go FI of some route wether it be turbo/cam or sc/cam and a set of afr 205's if you got the money

What mods do you have done right now to be a 12.1-11.8 second car or were you saying your looking to be a 12.1-11.8 second car?

I love my heads/cam. Im biased though. The blower isnt worth the money, their too finicky, unless you have a cog or an 8-rib setup they tend to throw belts when racing a lot.

if you have the money and its not issue like you said, screw H/C and blower, do a turbo.
