I am going togo ahead with the 01 corvette cam install in my 02 5.3 z-71 this weekend. I have some comp pushrods, ls6 springs and an adjustable timing set. I was wondering if I should line the cam straight up or advance it 4 degrees to help with the bottom end? Any help is welcome!

if you are set on that cam i would go straight and just get a programmer.
